Your Clawz can last, come off, and go back on again. How you wear them is completely up to you.

Want them on for a weekend? Perfect. Want the longest-lasting wear possible? I got you.

FOR THE LONGEST-LASTING WEAR

A good application starts before the glue. Taking a few extra minutes to prep your natural nails can make a huge difference in how long your Clawz stay on.

Before applying:

  • Make sure your natural nails are completely clean and dry.
  • Gently push back your cuticles so the press-on can sit directly on your nail plate rather than your skin.
  • Lightly buff the surface of your natural nails to remove the shine.
  • Wipe each nail with alcohol or nail dehydrator and let them dry completely.
  • Avoid lotion, cuticle oil, or soaking your hands in water right before application.
  • Lay out your Clawz in order before you start so you're not searching for sizes with wet glue on your nails.

TIME TO APPLY YOUR CLAWZ

Apply a thin, even layer of nail glue to your natural nail and a small amount inside the Claw.

Line the Claw up with your natural nail, starting near the cuticle without touching your skin. Slowly lower it into place and press down firmly.

Hold each nail for 30–60 seconds, applying pressure across the entire nail. You want the press-on sitting evenly across your natural nail without gaps or air pockets.

And remember: more glue does not always mean a better hold. Too much can spill onto your skin and make application messier.

PRO TIP: DO THEM BEFORE BED

Try to keep your hands away from water for at least a couple of hours after application.

For the strongest hold, I love applying press-ons before bed. It gives the glue hours of uninterrupted time to set before you're washing your hands, showering, doing dishes, or otherwise putting your new Clawz to work.

WANT THEM FOR JUST A WEEKEND?

That's one of my favorite things about press-ons: you don't have to commit.

If you only want your Clawz for an event, a weekend, school break, vacation, or whenever you feel like wearing them, you don't necessarily need to aim for maximum adhesion.

Your application can be adjusted depending on how long you want to wear your set. Just remember that stronger prep and more secure glue application generally mean a stronger hold, and potentially a little more patience when it's time for removal.

Your Clawz should work around your life, not the other way around.

READY FOR A CHANGE?

First rule: pleaseee don't rip them off!!

If you're ready to remove your Clawz, a nail glue remover can help break down the adhesive without forcing the press-on away from your natural nail.

Follow the instructions for your specific remover, applying it around the edges of the press-on and allowing it time to work. As the adhesive begins to loosen, gently work the remover underneath the nail. Take your time and continue adding remover as needed until the Claw comes off.

If it isn't coming off easily, don't force it. Give the remover more time to do its thing.

Gentle removal helps protect your natural nails and gives your Clawz the best chance at another life.

YES, YOU CAN REUSE THEM

One of the best parts of custom press-ons is that the art doesn't have to disappear when you're done wearing it.

After removal, clean your Clawz carefully and remove leftover adhesive without damaging the press-on. You can do this with an E-file, a buffer, or with more nail glue remover. Store the set somewhere safe until you're ready to wear them again.

How many times you'll be able to reuse a set depends on how they're applied, removed, worn, and cared for. Treating them gently gives you the best chance of getting multiple wears out of your favorite Clawz.
